Its getting ridiculous.

Stop telling people what little box they need to fit in.

We can listen to and watch people we don't agree with politically. We can even enjoy it!

I even listen to a couple people who despise Trump, and Ill keep doing it, because I can still grow my views using theirs.

These lukewarm grifters need to fuck all the way off.

PresidentOnFirstTry -1 points ago +9 / -10

Watch this while you are at it. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't forgive him even if he agrees with you politically.

entertainment industry is gross... however, if she blows that guy to get on stage... that's her choice? he didn't force the girl(s).

0
PresidentOnFirstTry 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yeah? Guess you are right, it's Natalie's choice to footblow Hunter.

2
--danneskjold-- 2 points ago +2 / -0

um. that would be pedophelia. was the comedian getting blowjobs from minors. if that is the case, i stand corrected.

0
PresidentOnFirstTry 0 points ago +1 / -1

How do you find coercion fine? I can agree the women should have declined but victim blaming much?

1
--danneskjold-- 1 point ago +1 / -0

i think the term victim is thrown around too loosely these days. a person does something they regret and then claim to be a victim.

i am not fine with coercion, however, i don't know if a club owner/manager telling a comedian, give me a blowjob if you want to get on stage is the legal definition of coercion. scummy, yes.

This right here. Sorry but I'm a moderate right leaning kinda pede. There is a lot of stuff I don't agree with that Joe says, but his show has been extremely positive for me in my life. I love Joe.

it's cancel culturists trying to control their hurt feelings.

1

Exactly what I was thinking. You can hear arguments and entertain them without accepting them as fact.

48
ChicagoMAGA 48 points ago +48 / -0

I only watch if I like the guest. If he gets Alex Jones back on, I will definitely watch that episode. Alex and Tim Dillon on at the same time was amazing and worth watching.

TheJae 33 points ago +35 / -2

Joe may be a bit too liberal for me on policy but come on man, Joe is the only guy on the planet in media that talks to legit people on the right regularly and plus he has some really interesting people on.

Again you don't have to agree with his politics but if Sidney or Rudy or even GEOTUS wanted to talk he would let them say anything they want. Until that changes he gets a free pass

President_Elect_Pepe 2 points ago +5 / -3

My problem with this shit regardless of who the centrist is is that these threads always have shills coming out of the woodwork to support these people.

3
President_Elect_Pepe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fair and good is the right friend. We ARE the middle.

6
EvanOnTheFly 6 points ago +6 / -0

No, it's to support open dialogue. And even if they like a person everyone isn't a precut cookie cooker shape. Some people are going to have views or explain thing in different ways.

I swear this whole "don't listen to x" shit is stupid and just as bad as what reddit was doing.

Posts need to focus on the merit of the belief and not just don't listen.

Alternatively sainting people isn't helpful either. Mattis is a case in point. Mooch is a case in point.

2
President_Elect_Pepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Where did I personally say you shouldn’t listen???

My problem is the shills which is 100% a real issue here. See all the Tucker threads or all the threads about the beanie hat guy for confirmation.

1
Adhal 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's good to have different viewpoints in your media, having only one side puts you in an echo chamber which is dangerous because you just fall into the same mentality all these commies have and don't know what they are really thinking.

If they are actively and purposely, like fox, trying to brainwash you into a false narrative while reusing to report the whole story then yes, drop them like a sack of rocks.

Maybe joe has done this and i missed it, but I'm not gonna damn him for having stupid opinions.

1
President_Elect_Pepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

I watch Rogan from time to time.

Part of having different viewpoints and being open minded is that if someone says to turn something off I have already heard the opposing viewpoint where I don’t need to do that.

So to me the people who come in here to shill are making a redundant and unnecessary argument.

If you really believe in open debate then why not let the argument to turn these people off have a fair shake?

It’s clear that is the minority opinion. We don’t need to hear 100 voices puffing up an internet celebrity who gets millions of views.

It’s the kind of celebrity worship I hate and to be honest the millennial culture seems to be especially prone to defending celebrities for no other reason than that they are popular so they have “earned it”.

1
Adhal 1 point ago +1 / -0

"If you really believe in open debate then why not let the argument to turn these people off have a fair shake?"

Im not saying im not giving them a fair shake, Im just expressing my viewpoint in the matter, never once did I say cancel the OP :D

1
President_Elect_Pepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah I just feel that these comments come off as shilling.

I could write a 20 paragraph diatribe on these guys.

Tbh with Rogan it should be treated as entertainment. There’s no reason to really hard push “centrist” opinions around here imo.

1
Sneker 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, he is a Hollywood Millionaire now, so gotta stay liberal.

"Some took aim at Spotify, attacking the company for their recent decision to sign Rogan up for a $100 million contract."

He was going to vote for Bernie. It was no secret.

8
EvanOnTheFly 8 points ago +8 / -0

And...this is news? Should I not listen to others discussions on current events, culture, science, and other matters because one doesn't like my President?

If you say yes then you need to get off here and. Go back to cuckit.

UpvoteBot 16 points ago +19 / -3

He always has been. Fucker promotes liberal policies and ideals for year then he leaves California for Texas due to the results of those same policies and ideals. He’s a coward, an unfunny ‘comedian’ and an idiot.

I disagree, fellow Pedes. You're wrong about Rogan. I've said this here before. He has a fine line to walk, in order to keep his foot in both worlds. Just sayin'.....

16
waggin_the_dog 16 points ago +16 / -0

I can't listen to him anymore. I do think he works as a bridge for people breaking free from the left. He helped me for sure, so I will respect him for that, but I've outgrown him.

4
Boypenisgirlvagina 4 points ago +4 / -0

I used to listen to every one of Joe's podcast until the 2016 election. He immediately started shitting on Trump as soon as he won and became unbearable to listen to from that point on.

I have to (respectfully) disagree. I've watched him. I know he's said questionable things, but I believe it is all subterfuge, so he can keep legitimacy in the liberal world of entertainment.

6
blurryface 6 points ago +7 / -1

And that makes him a certified douchebag.

2
ViolentNPCS 2 points ago +2 / -0

THIS. He's stayed true to himself, as far as I can tell, and he routinely acts as a foil for controversial guests.

And he's very anti-censorship.

7
JuicyfearsMAGA 7 points ago +7 / -0

Beta who acts alpha

7
heyhay83 7 points ago +8 / -1

I just think he is a person who has his own ideas some are liberal some are conservative. He gets shit from both sides for it. I even listen to his liberal guests just to get a in depth hearing of what they really think not a thirty second sound bite to know how they really think even if it's wrong. It helps to know your enemies sometimes.

5
VoltronGreen1981 5 points ago +6 / -1

The guest he has on the show is the only reason to listen. Rogan himself isn't the draw.

5
Pederella 5 points ago +5 / -0

I don't watch for Rogan. I watch for the guest. Many get an instant swipe. Some get a trial and swipe. Some get a full hearing. Whatever else, Rogan is one of the few around that let the guest do the talking. If you appreciate that characteristic, Peter Robinson at the Hoover Institution does great interviews.

He's a lefty. Dropped his podcast from rotation a long time ago. I am currently keeping my amigdala in shape with the no agenda show. John and Adam deconstruct international media twice a week.

Example: They had COVID pegged right away. They were on to build back better right away (even before Biden started using it) too.

Latest show: http://1296.noagendanotes.com/

I can't stand this guy, half the stuff he says is based on 0 understanding of our government and the issues. Classic case of an uninformed voter, who thinks they are informed because they are on twitter and reads CNN. ASS

2
zx9john 2 points ago +3 / -1

Yeah I stopped listening about a year ago. Couple months back i started a new episode on a big road trip and I was yelling ‘bullshit’ at my car stereo within 10mins - unsubbed. Dont miss.

2
Animosity_NYC 2 points ago +2 / -0

Joe Rogan got paid whether we listen to his pod cast or not. Lets not think like the socialist in that we need to stay within our own echo chambers. Its OK to branch out and listen to other peoples opinions, Its part of having a healthy debate. And having a healthy debate is the only way we are going to bring the other half of this country back to our side.

Rogan is not worth your time. Occasionally (coughcoughBerniecoughcough) he hosts worthwhile guests.

Use his show as a resource of archived interviews, not a news machine.

for real.

But Joe Rogan still isn't worth anyone's time.

2
attorneyriffic 2 points ago +2 / -0

I mean I don't listen for him. His stand up is terrible. But I like the guests. The recent Glenn Greenwald episode was fantastic. I like to consume a lot of media but I have the critical thinking skills to separate the bullshit

1
augustinius 1 point ago +1 / -0

His stand-up has got to be some of the worst I've heard. Talk about arrested development...

Good point about critical thinking -- not everyone will be discerning enough while listening.

My main gripe is Joe's tendency to react emotionally at first and not get over that initial reaction, but that's my main gripe about myself too so...

1
Tronald_Dump 1 point ago +2 / -1

Sorry but there's a huge difference here:

  1. He doesn't claim to be a news source
  2. He admits he is an idiot
  3. He's not a wolf in sheep's clothing like others (Tucker)
  4. He is pretty reasonable for a liberal

The point is you should be grown enough to listen to someone for entertainment whose views don't align with yours.

1
PresidentOnFirstTry 1 point ago +1 / -0

He is pretty reasonable for a liberal

Checks out, considering his delight in preying on women.

1
RighteousHo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oh hes a total douchebag, I occasionally watch YouTube videos for interesting people. Rogan himself is a talentless hack though.

1
Clippeddickmcgee 1 point ago +1 / -0

Best thing he did was introduce me to Jocko Willink and his podcast & organization.

1
TheBusinessEnd77 1 point ago +1 / -0

I like Rogan but I don’t think he ever wanted a heap of responsibility put on his shoulders. When he steers conversation away from topics that might get him in hot water it makes me cringe. I will often watch his show but I reserve the right to call him stupid for being another multimillionaire propping up Bernie Sanders. Props up a socialist and fled CA because insane taxes and authoritarian regulations.

1
President_Elect_Pepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

In addition I won’t give him recognition but the guy having the same initials as Toilet Paper seems aptly named and should be part of this list.
