supply chain disruptions are already happening. I'm noticing more and more things I usually get and could find easily are getting harder to locate and more expensive when you do find them. I think this is just a result of the factories and such being closed. When truckers start striking shelves are going to start emptying real quick.

Prepping, in general is perfectly fine. Anyone in an earthquake or flood prone area should have supplies. Others should also have supplies, first aid, food, water etc...you don’t need to gloom and doom to prep.
You could start prepping now and be fine. Get a vacuum sealer and seal up a shitload of beans, brown rice, nuts, dried fruits, and cans of salmon. Get those 5 gallon water cooler jugs and fill them at a dispenser for $2.50.
