Cursive, drive stick, self-taught mechanic, DIY everything that I can afford the equipment to do, also a millennial and I hate this collective "muh millennial" bs constantly perpetrated by the generation that generally nurtured and allowed our indoctrination in the first place.
Boomers were supposedly the first generation targeted with mass advertising. There was a generation prior to them that tried to cuck them at a young age.
They are victims the same as other generations.
The difference comes in how they respond to the cucking attempts as it is for gen x, y, z, and whatever the current generation will be called.
Point being, there was a ton of cuckery in the system they were raised in. It didn't start with them.
To me, the divide is between rural and city dwellers.
Rural/suburban people grow up learning how to do things, and how to carry responsibility. City dwellers..... are over mothered cucks and harridans because that's what they've been taught. They live in concrete and have to be told when to cross the street by a light on a post.
I worked with a 22-year-old who could not read cursive, as she had not been taught. It made me feel awful for her.
No millennials are the middle aged people that pushed all this gender and other bs upon us.
Our generation was to spoiled.
And to be fair it started with boomer indoctrination at the educational level, and the younger generation is possibly gonna be worse but doesn't have the power atm.
Remember the ilks of AOC and ilhan and such are millennials
I agree with your sentiment. The term for Gen Y has become a generic diss for anybody under 21. It's used as the age-related "n" word in too many circumstances.
also the last generation to remember life before a pocket computer. Pocket music was the best thing millenials had in high school, and non stop texting.
Half of millennials didn't have that though, if you were born in the 80s you "might" have had a pager in your pocket on high school, or a basic cellphone if your were toward the later end of that decade
And as typical of majority of gen x'rs you have no sense of self reflection or accountability, every thing is someone else's fault. Sound familiar? Yep its exactly what the issue is today, it was passed on to your kids and now we are were we are.
And that's not to be all high and mighty. I could be considered a millennial or gen x'r depending on what year bracket you go by. (And both were shit) But it's time everyone start taking some fucking responsibility instead of pointing fingers or this shit won't stop
Blue? Gun racks in trucks in a high school parking lot was common. Lots of drugs, and debauchery, celebrated the sixtys. Gen x girls embrassed feminism. She brought home the bacon, and could not boil water. No super vision. Kids raising kids, and then crack babies. We may have a huge roll in the demise of western civilization, but we were not all blue.
Not everything is black, and white. Gen x did not bury their heads. They had no clue about what the future would bring. Lack of parenting? Yes.Thinking the world was stable? Yes. The best parents I know are gen x. The boomers robbed us, and the kids went commie. We did not see that coming.
My post are opposite from when I posted them. The time stamps are backwards. My first post admitted the fault of my generation. That proves self reflection. I took responsibility for my mellinial, and gen z kids. I pointed fingers at the lack of parenting during the 80's. My kids are not the problem today.
Not funny when there's no truth to it. We were taught cursive in school. I don't think boomer generalizations are funny either. The generational feud is stupid
It's nice that we make memes about the chair being against the wall. What's sad is that's all that it will ever be. We all intuitively realize that we are too comfortable in America, we're not actually going to fight. We'll talk about fighting, we'll make memes, we'll put up Molon Labe flags, but we won't fight.
Every American gets this fact. There will be a few people with nothing to lose who will lash out, they will quickly be struck down by the organized law enforcement and paramilitary forces. They will quickly be labeled maniacs.
America was slowly taken from us, and it was done with tactical application of diversity and fear of being called racist. America was destroyed by diversity and diversity alone. It took our first amendment, and it is slowly taking all the others. You can't speak out, or you will be called racist.
Every Western country is being destroyed by immigration. There's hardly a real man left in Western europe.
Since when did everyone become sensitive of the generation they were born in? I didn't realise there were people that legitimately took this shit seriously.
As a millennial, yeah the cursive teaching was pretty shit.
If I recall we briefly went over it in 1st grade, by just learning the cursive of each letter, maybe we wrote a couple sentences, but we neither had to write in cursive in other assignments, nor did we talk about it ever again in any other grade lol
Millenials are in this weird place where we were taught things like this and then immediately told never to use them. We were prepared and raised for a world that doesn't exist anymore
I'm an older Gen-Z and I learned cursive in 3rd grade, the grade below me stopped learning it a year later. I was literally the last grade to learn cursive in my school.
Millenials were still taught cursive. The generation after us wasn't.
We can also still drive stick shift. We are the last of a dying breed.
Cursive, drive stick, self-taught mechanic, DIY everything that I can afford the equipment to do, also a millennial and I hate this collective "muh millennial" bs constantly perpetrated by the generation that generally nurtured and allowed our indoctrination in the first place.
Some of us go against the grain & refused to conform to the mold into which we were poured...
The terms "boomer" and "millennial" are Marxist fuckery terms. They do not apply to us.
Divide and conquer
preach
There are 80's millennials. And there are 90s millennials.
This. 80s Millennials ftw.
YUP. Analog/Digital
You realize you are not a millennial since you actively rebel against the degenerate culture right? We are the new punk rock.
Am millennial, can confirm. I can read and write cursive and learned to drive on a stick.
Boomers attacking at dawn sounds about right.
I will say our generation is full of cucks though.
"I will say our generation is full of cucks though." ...boomers have thier share of cucks too.
Boomers were supposedly the first generation targeted with mass advertising. There was a generation prior to them that tried to cuck them at a young age.

I agree.
We got plenty of cucks too - Gen X
OPERATION ENSURE IS A GO!!!

39 - 25 yr olds are Millennials.
I agree with your sentiment. The term for Gen Y has become a generic diss for anybody under 21. It's used as the age-related "n" word in too many circumstances.
also the last generation to remember life before a pocket computer. Pocket music was the best thing millenials had in high school, and non stop texting.
Last generation to remember a life with actual freedom. The pre 9/11 America.
Half of millennials didn't have that though, if you were born in the 80s you "might" have had a pager in your pocket on high school, or a basic cellphone if your were toward the later end of that decade
Younger millennials though? No one I know who's in their mid-20's knows it.
I love how boomers can't tell the difference between Millennias and Gen Z.
The only thing that matters is both need to get off my lawn.
They forgot about gen x. We have a reason to be pissed.
I mean gen x was pretty fucking blue though, or buried their heads.
I say this as someone right between gen x and millennial.
I will add that Ronald Reagan was my president, and most of us hated commies.
And as typical of majority of gen x'rs you have no sense of self reflection or accountability, every thing is someone else's fault. Sound familiar? Yep its exactly what the issue is today, it was passed on to your kids and now we are were we are.

Hence the "or buried their heads" part.
Not everything is black, and white. Gen x did not bury their heads. They had no clue about what the future would bring. Lack of parenting? Yes.Thinking the world was stable? Yes. The best parents I know are gen x. The boomers robbed us, and the kids went commie. We did not see that coming.

1980 baby here as well. Turning 40 on an illegal holiday next week.
Hah happy early birthday then! And remember if the cops come knocking, just don't answer the door :)
Gen x was unsupervised, and ignorant of the ramifications it had on the world. Our parents made bank, and our elected officials sold us out.
Millennial and gen Z can't tell the difference between Boomers and genX
Similarly lots of people call anyone whos older and not completely up on tech and whats trendy a boomer.
All this generation blame stuff is weird to me.
So why don't they like trump if he's controlled by Putin? Or is it they want old world ussr Stalin?
John has a long mustache.
Let's be criminals!
Came here and said it anyways.
God bless this place.
WOLVERINES!!!!!!!
Millennial here. I was taught how to cursive. I have pulled my kids out of public school, and my 3rd grader now knows the cursive too!
LARP detected! :-)
Just adding to a discussion, not really trying to correct anything... don't be so sensitive. I thought the post was funny.
Lol
Fuck off with the collectivist millennial bullshit. We are all individuals. Blaming the generation YOU raised and nurtured is a copout.
Calm down. This is only a joke post.
Not funny when there's no truth to it. We were taught cursive in school. I don't think boomer generalizations are funny either. The generational feud is stupid
This reminds me of the fake stereotypes about conservatives that /r/politicalhumor pretends are funny.
Okay boomer.
Muh millennials. Fuck off you boomers got us into this mess voting for the Bushes and the Clintons and endless wars and unlimited immigration! SAD!
Which retards raised this generation making them think government would take care of them?
It's nice that we make memes about the chair being against the wall. What's sad is that's all that it will ever be. You are alright Pede.
Succinct and accurate. Well put.
IT'S, SPELLED CORRECTLY!
Uh, millenial here. We were taught cursive. Lol
Love your name. One of the best books.
Since when did everyone become sensitive of the generation they were born in? I didn't realise there were people that legitimately took this shit seriously.
and the millennials are not even out of bed at dawn. I like this plan.
i'm considered a millennial, i've been awake since midnight est and its my day off lol.
Actually got a good chuckle out of this one!
Born 1992, write in a mix of cursive and print, read in both
There are still many who know it. I actually write faster this way.
Am millennial, still write in cursive by default on the occasions I actually write
But... they won't be awake ye... OH.
I'm Gen Z (24) and I can read and write cursive, lmao.
How about EBONICS????? That should clog up the board....
John has a long mustache.
Bwahahaha. This is hilarious
Wolverines!

Jokes on you, my grade schoolers in private school right now are being taught cursive, in person, with no masks.
REEEEEEEE
The C2 Corvette Stingray had its logo in cursive writing, boy that was and still is a cool car.
I see a Red Dawn reference I upvote it!
AVENGE MEEEEE!
DONT CRY!
Donโt ever let me see you cry again! Let it turn into something else... let it turn....
โWhen you get to high school all your essays and projects will have to be done in cursive.โ
I remember my elementary teachers all saying that. What were they thinking?!
millenial californian here, whats is this language?
KEK
Pence newhamshire vote won our size, no longer fucks around Oh dogg
???
I am unsure if penmanship is even taught in school. From the way I see teenagers write now it looks like they have no control of a pencil/pen
Kids these days! shakes fist angrily
That is hilarious!
John has a long mustache.
John has a long mustache.
๐ญ I spit my tea all over my breakfast
Chair is against the wall....but cursive? How many have a sw radio or know how to operate it?
That RFA message wasnt broadcast in cursive..when interwebs go down...you wont be sending any "chair is against the wall" messages
Millenials are in this weird place where we were taught things like this and then immediately told never to use them. We were prepared and raised for a world that doesn't exist anymore
If I were a glowie, this is how i would post too.
I'm an older Gen-Z and I learned cursive in 3rd grade, the grade below me stopped learning it a year later. I was literally the last grade to learn cursive in my school.
No.
Boomers don't realize how fucking old they are and think millennials are the teens/early 20s :D
Zoomers were not universally taught. Millennials were just before the no child left behind bull crap
Not true at all
Zoomers on the other hand ๐ฌ
Literally my last comment highlights this deficiency lol.
