As a millennial, yeah the cursive teaching was pretty shit.

If I recall we briefly went over it in 1st grade, by just learning the cursive of each letter, maybe we wrote a couple sentences, but we neither had to write in cursive in other assignments, nor did we talk about it ever again in any other grade lol
