Love that Rudy is in the fight man, but we need another point man/woman on the microphone leading the charge. His clout would speak louder just standing, behind the person on the mic, with quiet resolve.
He has been a little all over the place and not the best speaker, I agree. But he redeemed himself yesterday as far as I'm concerned. He brilliantly summarized everything they've found over the past two weeks and spanked the media.
He kind of lost me at the “my cousin vinny” analogy. This is a serious situation and the attempt at levity was a little cringey. The guy definitely has enough clout that just being on the team adds major weight and respectability. He needs to talk softly, not often, and carry a big stick.
