It sits in the middle of CA alongside the CA delta that provides shipping access all the way out to the Pacific Ocean. They can actually sail giant cargo ships from the ocean right into downtown Stockton. The city has some beautiful old neighborhoods and is the county seat. Then something happened to it years ago and it became a complete shithole.
