Lots of fallout here about Fox. I've posted before that I stopped trusting them long ago and I had my reasons stemming from logical inconsistencies from these supposed conservatives and their utter inability to conserve a damn thing.

But it occurs to me now there are still others waiting in the wings -- biding their time before the signal is given and they are told to unmask and attack us.

And I think I know what it is that gives them away.

So let's talk about Tucker and why I loved him but at the same time could never stand to listen to him speak.

Tucker's nightly tirades against the Left and systems of oppression being leveraged against ordinary Americans were extremely well-ordered, researched, and passionate arguments. I always felt he was a lone voice in a forest of morons and unscrupulous traitors. "That's exactly how I feel!" was my reaction each and every time.

Still, when his videos were posted here or suggested by the YouTube algo, I not only avoided clicking, if I heard his voice on a video autoplaying after another video, I would stop it and search for something else.

Why?

Well, honestly, he rarely said or revealed anything I did not already know. Frankly, 2020 has been too high-stress to get spun up more about stuff I already know.

And that's the tell: outrage.

The ranks of the controlled opposition are full of outrage mongers. People who are UPSET that something is taking place or someone is getting away with something.

While outrage is justified, if it is all they have, then their schtick is MANIPULATION. They are teaching us LEARNED HELPLESSNESS.

Think back on all the traitors we've dealt with these past four years. Each and every one of them has been an outrage monger. Megyn Kelly, Tim Pool, Tucker Carlson.

They excel at defining the problem. And nothing else.

Think about all the outrage mongers you still listen to today. They have yet to be activated but that time is coming.

(Galadriel's voice) You know of whom I speak!

When I write, I always try to give my reader something to look towards (note: not selff-promotion as I do not give my real name, pen names, or outlets where I have been published). At bit of instruction (be brave!), a suggestion (abolish the FBI), or a solution (vote Trump).

I do this because I feel I owe my readers the benefit of HOPE. I've always felt it wrong to rail against the issues of the world and not try to address them somehow as if they can be solved. I do this because every time I discuss these same issues with colleagues, family and friends they always ask the same question: "What can be done about it?"

I know my solutions are not always feasible or even correct. But I am compelled by a moral imperative to at least suggest a way forward.

The members of the controlled opposition trade in feelings and high emotion. It's good business. But if you want to avoid the embarrassment of being taken for a ride in the future, look for commentators like our POTUS who not only see the problem, but competently punch back with a genuine smile and the joy of a happy warrior.

Anger is chaff and countermeasures. We need to stay focused on the target.

I hate these wall of text posts personally but felt I had to share.

I generally scroll past longer ones (or save for later), but this one I stopped and read. Worth the time.
