Was it better for us that Obama beat Romney? Judging by voting patterns over the past couple years, I think that if Romney had won, no way Trump can win 2016 or 2020. People tend to flip between Republican and Democrat. Unlikely we would have 12-16 straight years of Republican Presidential control in this political climate. Ultimately, since both Obama and Romney are swamp monsters, it wouldn't matter except for denying Trump his victory.
