Of course he can fail and of course democracy can be destroyed. Democracy has been destroyed many times in the past, and it can happen again. Trump isn't superman. What if he has a heart attack and dies? Or a brain aneurysm? Or someone staged an assassination attempt and succeeded? Or a military coup?
Of course my questions are speculative. That's the point. But unanswerable? Why? It is entirely possible that Trump won't be president in January. Then what?
I feel they are. I also feel that there are enough republicans in power to not have to worry as much. Had it all went Blue. We would have more to worry about.
If republicans in Congress start showing up missing, we will reconvene.
The problem with republicans and Trump supporters is....we have jobs. We have careers. We aren't jobless hippies that can spend day after day violently protesting with no regard to the consequences of a criminal record.
We have bills, and loans, and mortgages, and families to support.
That to me is the problem and what forces us into a category of 'silent majority'.
That argument isn't going to fly soon. If socialists take control, we won't have jobs or careers. Only two classes will exist. The very poor and the ultra rich. And the vast majority will be very poor. If Biden and his insane environmental alarmists get their way, you will see millions of jobs disappear.
