im canadian but we are getting pushed in to another lockdown as well. i live in an area that has barely been touched by covid. it is a retirement area and we still only have has 3 deaths total .the rules being forced on us are not justified by the level of risk. they are trying to limit travel but it is literally protected in out charter of rights and freedoms to have free movement within the country. i am not going to listen to that shit. i will travel to see my parents . they are old and need help.im not going to let some arbitrary rule that is not even a law keep me locked in my own home like a scared little sheep. i refuse to comply with this bullshit this time around. i didnt comply last time when people were dropping in the streets of china so i damn sure wont be cancelling christmas over the sniffles
Lock down the fucking nursing homes and anyone over 75 if you want to save lives.
I work with a ton of seniors, they arent giving up anything. I was at one yesterday, they had a group playing cards the day before, and dinner guests last night. He golfs with a group 3 days a week.
My wife takes our kids to a nature group (just lets kids play in the forest) and they are now recommending everyone wear masks. This is just a group of moms and has nothing to do with any organization. Just a couple of idiots at the top is enough to ruin the group. These normies have lost all common sense.
