It is almost MORE ridiculous that they even TOOK a picture. This is more frustrating than having nothing at all.
What kind of dumb fuck retard just takes a photo from a distance, instead of taking the whole THING or at least taking pictures of several envelopes as well?
It's not trash and grabbing it would be illegal not to mention potentially dangerous. The criminals must be in a big rush because they let someone get close enough to take pictures. I lived with a roommate for 5 years that worked for a shredding and secure document storage company. He's retired now, but he used to drive a truck like this. There are established protocol that must be followed.
Oh wow. I've done so many things over the decade that I forget what I know. I was trained in document control while in the military. All official government documents follow the same standard. There has to be a complete documentation of the chain of custody. When documents are destroyed, it must be documented. That documentation must record the complete identity of the destroyed documents.
When the choice is something illegal (stealing garbage) vs letting evidence be destroyed, i say lets do the illegal thing. We can't always play by the rules.
Yep, should have grabbed it to keep it from being shredded. We play too nice! This is evidence!!!
This. Whether it's real or not, should have grabbed one to at least take a pic of it so people can't dispute it.
