It seems most here have forgotten or didn't even know of ruby ridge. or waco for that matter. Some of us grew up hating feds.

Whoever is not familiar with Ruby Ridge needs to be. Very similar to Waco as you brought up. An example of the U.S. government killing its own citizens, recklessly.

Arguably leads into the Oklahoma City bombing too.

I believe McVeigh himself stated that he planned the bombing as retaliation for Ruby Ridge and Waco.

That's my recall. Though I've seen a few other theories.

Ruby Ridge was an affront to justice and a slap in the face to all Americans.

Those responsible for those murders were never held to justice.

Those responsible for those murders were never held to justice.

At this point it says more about the citizens than the government.

I have a theory that both Ruby Ridge and Waco were catalysts in a multigenerational operation to shake up and wake up the American Great Mass (aka public) to the reality of communist takeover, the culmination of which we are witnessing today.

It was God Awful and all started with Randy Weaver's son's dog getting sniped, followed by the son. What continued to unfold is a true tragedy and only got worse.

Jesus, the whole thing was a damn mess 😔

It was. Hard to digest it all and very scary this happened in the U. S.

Straight up assassinations. No other word for it.

TLDR:

  • Entrap a citizen because you think he's a white supremacist.

  • Give him the wrong court date so you have an excuse to send in the FBI, ATF, and US Marshals to bust his supposed terrorist ass

  • Your goons murder the man's wife, kid, and dog, then taunt the survivors for days

  • After the surrender, you spend years fighting like hell to get the murderer off, you succeed

  • Unfortunately for you, the man you entrapped and ruined is found not guilty of everything except a bail violation and missing the first court date

  • 30 years later, half the conservatives have forgotten what you did and are convinced you're a patriot who's going to lock up the swamp

It's incredible to me how many people here are completely unaware of this.

The Feds shot and killed his wife while she held her newborn baby.

Because they could.

Yes and what has Barr ever said about that?

IncredibleMrE1 3 points ago +3 / -0

and what has Barr ever said about that?

He helped defend Lon Horiuchi and get him off on all charges, as a matter of fact.

Not a peep that I know of.

Weaponized Inaction.

Barr is going to get stung like the rest of the swamp. Trump surrounded himself with crooks and backstabbers for a reason, it wasn't ignorance.

Not sure I follow.

I believe we are going to see the hammer come down after the courts are resolved.

Lots of our frens here are too young to remember. But this is why Billly Bagpipes is and always will be irredeemable to me. NO trust. Swampman.

He's smiling because he thinks we Americans are all rubes and he just drank a gallon of garlic butter.

2
Primed_Native_Texan [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Mmmmmm. Garlic butter. What a decadence, the real stuff; not the oil based crap.

Trump has the power to replace the AG and it is 100% his fault that we have this do-nothing-swamp-creature as head of the Justice Dept.

Makes me wonder why Trump hasn't fired him. Once Trump is proven to be the winner against the fraudulent Biden team, I feel he will show Barr the door.

I don't think he's bad, just a bureaucrat that does busywork instead of anything that makes a difference. That's what he looked like to me during his confirmation hearing. He's like the fat guy that you know is going to slow down the whole team.
