i used to live not far from the crash site and often drove that same stretch of road. i believe it was a CIA assassination. you don't have to be Columbo to deduce this from the crime scene. at the intersection before the crash site, there is a pretty big dip in the road, designed to make traffic slow down, because that road becomes a residential street. there is no anyone could carelessly speed over that dip and not notice and hit the brakes. if you went over that dip at 50 mph, you would scrape the hell out of your car's underside. you would notice. you would hear it. somehow magically Hasting did 180mph through that dip? no way. he wasnt in control of his car. CIA controlled it using their Vault7 hacker toolkit, which specifically mentions hacking cars.
