The document shredding doesn't make sense if you are trying to cover up evidence to preserve the results of the 'election'. It only makes the scenario worse in a challenge where those records become material.

It does make major sense if you aren't doing it for the sake of the election but rather to save your ass from going to federal prison for a very long time?
