Here was the meeting, Wait, so they do have a pile of evidence to prove the cheat? Yep. So if we stick on this we will forever be branded as helping steal a presidential election? Yep?

Ok, go get one of your first years, and have them make a shitty call to a trump lawyer, I'll fix it with a judge, no worries. Then we can bail out of this shitshow.

Spot on pede, this seems the most likely explanation

There you go pedes. Give them a taste of their own medicine. Monitor all people from law firms defending these Secretaries of States, etc. and file intimidation reports on all of them if they say anything threatening or intimidating since Nov 3, 2020.

It is a felony and results in debarrment from practicing law. They want to mess with the Constitution and play cancel culture, then show them what it feels like.

What they do?

OakCliff 80 points ago +80 / -0

One of the idiot lawyers there called one of Trump's lawyer and harassed them. The dumbass and the firm he or she belongs to could be disbarred for doing so.

That headline is kind of misleading... They filed a motion for show cause. Show cause is when one or more of the parties has to justify, explain, or prove something to the court. Basically, if you get show caused, it's like getting called to the principal's office. No one likes it, and you have to go before the judge and explain yourself. And sanctions is something you always ask for in every motion for the pain of having to file a motion because opposing counsel is being dickweeds. Usually the sanctions are attorney fees for time wasted and costs for that period of the time being wasted + the motion filing fee.

If you look at the motion, the request for sanctions is just a line. It's the conclusion to the motion. "Plaintiffs defer to the Court as to what sanction is appropriate, and respectfully ask for an order to show cause for the above-described conduct of Secretary Boockvar’s counsel." So, the judge denied motion, but agreed in substance that defense counsel's behavior was poor:

The contents of the voicemail have not been made public. Brann said the voicemail wasn’t threatening, but it could be described as a β€œharassing call,” according to the Reuters Legal story. β€œSomeone needs to have a chat” with the associate, he said.

Kerns had said the voicemail lasted a minute, and it β€œfalls afoul of standards of professional conduct” by any measure.

To be honest, that's better than sanctions. They've been embarrassed to the court and to the judge that they will presumably will have to appear before again. To that end, I think the motion achieved it's intended effect, in that it put counsel for the SoS on blast and they even withdrew from the case. But that's just my $.02! Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

SPEZ: If you look at the rest of the docket, this motion is a tiny, tiny drop in the bucket compared to all the motions for leave and motions to dismiss floating around.

That made me lol. I've been trying to explain things where and when I can because doomers and the media shills are taking advantage of the public's basic lack of understanding about how lawsuits, and the courts in general, actually work to sow doubt and demoralize us. So, I'll be your Huckleberry.

carazariah [S] 22 points ago +22 / -0

Which makes you wonder what the hell did the firm find out that caused them to basically recuse themselves. πŸ‘€πŸ€”

Fuck Cernovich, you give up on us and want us to bend the knee to MSM and Biden election fraud, then you can go fuck yourself

4
supremeisland 4 points ago +7 / -3

Lol naw, he works behind the scenes to make stuff happen for MAGA cause he doesn't want media attention and credit, you're free to disagree tho.

If you take his words literally he sounds like an Anti-Trumper, but I see through his shtick. He knows that it's MAGA or bust. The guy is annoying because he loves to play contrarian and use these mindtwisting metaphors and whatnot to hide his true opinions. It can get exhausting, but I can understand some of it.

It might be true that he doesn't offer vocal support, but he offers a ton of financial support behind the scenes. I respect that he doesn't kiss Trump and his family's ass, yet still supports Trump. I much rather a person like Cerno be critical and call out Trumps family for shit behavior, than dick riders like Bill Mitchell.

1
AngryAsian 1 point ago +1 / -0

I actually don't know anything about his financial contributions

-2
supremeisland -2 points ago +1 / -3

He doesn't want the attention, there are many people out there that want to contribute to a of movement, but dont want the media to play association games with their name which can cause headaches that are not worth it. I totally understand that. If I'm a father or businessowner, and depending what industries I'm in, the headache from the fake news media may not be worth it, even "you shouldn't care what a lying fake news media says."

I also totally understand the hate on Cernovich, he annoys the shit outta me too with his stupid word games, but he in general does support MAGA people that are true MAGA, and not half MAGA/half GOP. My personality type is more MAGA till the day I die, it's my team or nothing -- but people like Cernovich are more open arms trying to mediate between opposing sides, which is why he will at times extend an olive branch to liberals -- Trump has done this same thing extending an olive branch to RINOs and ex-Obama people that eventually stabbed him in the back. Cernovich and Trump are not as crude and heartless as I, they want to believe that people will be fair. He would be more openly MAGA if Trump didn't hire so many snakes. While I'm more MAGA than guys like Cernovich openly, I hate that Trump makes so many shit hires throughout his presidency (Sessions, Barr, Wray, Haspel, McMaster, Bolton, Ex-Obamas, Ex-Rubios, etc). It's caused MAGA so many headaches that are just not worth the "don't worry Trump is playing 65D chess" memes.

I don't want to stick up for him too much, because there's a lot that pisses me off about him to, as I said earlier, extending an olive branch to liberals and things like that. Maybe his way is better than mine, I don't know.

Remember when Shill Mitchell was all over the place?

I realized the other day he disappeared.

Cerno is a edgelord Tim Pool.

He has useful info sometimes, if you can stomach his narcissism and flip-flopping.

Juggling legal teams is commonly employed tactic by those who wish to cause chaos, confusion and delay in the courtroom. Those who wish to avoid having the verdict read or avoid having evidence come to public light do it. If the Dems are doing this bullshit and the judge is letting them get away with it, that isn't necessarily good news.

I have a question. How can a private law firm represent the Secretary of State? Shouldn't the Attorney General for the state of Pennsylvania or some other government lawyer represent them? I am not a lawyer, but I find this strange.
