1
DragonRudy 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ohio State and U of Michigan (wolverines) have a long standing rivalry. OSU owns them at football.

bushman 3 points ago +3 / -0

Your statement has been fact checked! https://www.howmanydayssincemichiganhasbeatenohiostate.com/

Haha all love 💘 wish times were that simple again. Doubt ill ever care about football again. Time for America to look up to new heroes.

How about: Our state could have easily been one of the fucked up states in this election but we weren't.

32
Durdurdurkistan 32 points ago +32 / -0

That’s because in 2006 a computer programmer testified in Ohio about how he was hired to program voting machines to change votes. Ever since then Ohio has been on the lookout.

And despite the best efforts of the DNC, they haven’t found a stronghold like Detroit or philly where the Democrats in those cities have openly declared anything goes.

21
ModernKnight 21 points ago +21 / -0

They tried real hard in Cleveland, but we kept arresting the Demonrats on corruption charges. There was a period of several years where they couldn't keep any politicians in for more than a few months before them being arrested for corruption. They are finally starting to get the message.

Beautiful. Should be like that in all 50.

5
Smurfection 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm not sure. I'm suspicious that Obama stole the vote in Cleveland and Cincinnati in 2012. Obama, if he won legitimately in 2012, was the first president in American history to be re-elected with less votes than he won initially. Although that's not impossible, imo, it's suspicious. I know many, many people who voted for Obama in 2008 but not in 2012. Furthermore, Cleveland and Cincinnati is where Obama focused the "Obamaphone" program and he had tons of volunteers in those two cities. Almost his entire focus was on those two cities and together, they swung the election to Obama. I have never entirely believed Obama won Cincinnati and Cleveland legitimately in 2012.

2
D0NNIE_DARK0 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good points. We know the program was in use in 2012.

Good work Ohio.

DeWine is a fucking RINO. I never liked him when I lived in Ohio for a long time.

59
Guruchild 59 points ago +59 / -0

He is uniparty swine.

21
Bigger_igloo 21 points ago +21 / -0

I moved to TX <2 yrs ago, but once CV started blowing up I knew DeWine was a wimp. Really need a new blood takeover of the party, nationwide.

12

I didn’t like him when I heard he and Kasich were boys.

As someone who lives here I'm thrilled. I was planning to drive to Florida if they tried to jump as back into Quarantine, but I guess this is fine too. Or will he pull a Whitmer and just say "No"

13
Afeazo 13 points ago +13 / -0

I have a couple people from my office who are all planning on spending their thanksgiving or Christmas in Florida. They are going to do very well, while all the heavy blue states suffer.

7
ModernKnight 7 points ago +7 / -0

He'll veto the bill, but it has enough support in both the House and Senate to override him. And it's a general bill removing the ability to apply any punishments to any lockdown/pandemic/Department of Health rules.

I believe our states republican legislator moved against our dem governor and limited his ability to fuck with people. Basically businesses removed their mask requirement signs and cattle rail lines, opened both doors at walmart, and stopped fucking with people not wearing masks. Bars still have weird rules and strip Clubs. Stripper friend of mine said they can work but they gotta have an instrument on stage like a guitar or tambourine in order to perform.

Weird shit.

15
MAGA_4EVER 15 points ago +15 / -0

Haven't you heard that corona virus is scared of instruments?

I don't know man theremin backed stripping sounds like some goth mess.

4
freeperjim 4 points ago +4 / -0

Are you in Ohio and Walmart stores have dropped the mask requirement?

6
Sum_devil 6 points ago +6 / -0

Louisiana. I mean they still have the signs but they aren’t saying anything to anyone without a mask on. Everyone is just doing them. If you want to wear a mask, wear on. Keep space and don’t be coughing or doing other nasty shit.

Many employees will say “hello, how are you” like they’ve been told to make the no mask people feel welcome and happy to have them shopping.

Ohio farmpede here. Can confirm people are pissed and noncompliant

14
DeadOverRed 14 points ago +14 / -0

Yes! It's unbelievable to me that the nation's legislatures have allowed their power to be taken from them. It's good to see one fighting back.

13
ohiopede 13 points ago +13 / -0

Gotta survive a veto override vote which looks good since it passed with just enough for that the first time. They still do plenty of damage with their “recommendations” locally that nobody should leave their house except for work, food and medical. Since they pulled that shit earlier in the week sales at my biz is way down.

This will be used by dems as a cudgel. Let’s say Ohio sees continued increases as other states shutdown. Then cnn et al will shout “look Ohio with a rep governet didn’t shut down and it’s the worst”.

They will forget that it’s a joint house bill that approved this
