IMO, it's the best one. It's about what happened before the original series with Kirk and Spock. It's a modem rendention and is loaded with problem solving.

Original Star Trek.

Original Twilight Zone.

Original Battlestar Galactica.

The Sopranos was incredibly well done.

More recently, Firefly and Serenity were outstanding.

Burn Notice

The title of the series refers to the burn notices issued by intelligence agencies to discredit or announce the dismissal of agents or sources who are considered to have become unreliable. When spies are burned, their connection to an espionage organization is terminated, leaving them without access to cash or influence. According to the narration during the opening credits, the burned spy has no prior work history, no money, no support network – in essence, no identity

Edit* this is not a new series but a great series if you have not seen it

Game of Thrones

Except for the nudity, it basically describes everything going on right now in metaphors.

But only up to season 5.
