Only in three countries does a constitution grant its citizens the right to bear arms- the US (obviously), Mexico, and Guatemala. Even so Mexico and Guatemala have severe restrictions. Even so, its interesting that out of every nation on earth, its us three that guarantee our right to bear arms.

Czechia will be on that list soon. The major opponents to the amendment lost their senate seats in the last election.

I was surprised nations like Poland and Brazil didn't have it in their constitutions, then again, most of the time it stems from a revolutionary past.

Good on Czech Republic though!

Yeah. Constitutional protections are extremely rare. Poland is shall issue for sporting purposes but only may issue for self defense, oddly. Brazil is surprising, too, but they still have a big gun culture and their laws are largely just ignored - this is pretty much the same situation in the Philippines.

Out of the rest of the world? Yemen has pretty solid legal protections of unrestricted firearms ownership. LOL. But I don't think it's an enumerated right.
