He tried to distance himself from that situation but eventually he was left with no choice but to defend himself and we are all proud and filled with admiration with the choice he made and how well and decisive that he made it.
I am a combat vet. I am a killer. I am not a murderer. Big difference to those that have had to make that choice. A righteous killing is nothing to be ashamed of. Defending yourself or another is about as righteous as it gets, especially when the odds are heavily stacked against you.
