I don’t use the word. But I think these blanket bans around certain words on a whole is kind of ridiculous. Context should matter, but it seems that word is so powerful it shall not be named even when simply discussing it and not using it as an attack directed towards a specific person.

If I recall Papa John literally lost his company because he said on a call that you shouldn’t say it as a reply to someone who ask about it, who as it turns out was deliberately baiting him into saying it because they were recording it for the purpose of getting him to say it so they could kick him out of the company.

No word should have that much power! And it’s clown world that we give it that.

I don’t condone just calling people a nibba, but context should matter, and even if someone decides to use it in a derogatory way, they should be judged just as they would while using any other derogatory term in the same context.
