The best thing we could do is get the government out of student loan business and make student loans bankruptable. The cost of education will never go down if the government (banks would be better) don’t start doing cost/benefit analysis.
The problem is colleges are constantly doing construction and expanding and they use the current students money to pay for it. The ones who paid for that new dorm room don't even get to use it.
