Sort of. Stalin lead the criminalization of homosexuality in Russia (so that he could smear his heterosexual political opponents with it) and jailed political dissidents in asylums on the charge that they were gay. Even in modern day Greece the Marxist party are the ones who refuse to acknowledge transgender people as having valid identities because they believe in the natal man and woman. China regularly sends homosexuals and lesbians to concentration camps so they can be correctively raped (having them raped by the opposite sex to "cure" them of their homosexuality) and then if that doesn't work they just force them to be laborers and finish off disappearing them.

Communism is a mixed bag.
