I have read about multiple cases here and abroad, where people have acted on age, racial and/or sexual animus , using masks as a pretense. That is why not only should these mask mandates be rolled back, wearing masks in public should be BANNED, unless the wearer has a doctor's excuse. Some say the choice should be left to the individual , and if s/he feels afraid, s/he can wear a mask, but if it's left to individuals, we'll keep right on reading about mask-bullies using violence against anyone they already hate, if they think they have a valid excuse. Plus, too many "karens" and low-level, low-paid flunkies are revelling in their chance to be officious, and I am tired of hearing about them, too. The ku klux klan gave us one good thing : Anti mask laws with teeth. I hope to see those laws reimposed, and SOON.
