Lol.. best metaphor. We are Jim. They are Dwight. Really lightens up the situation. And we always win. Eventually Dwight admits his idiocy (but only after being down he was completely lied to).

Fake news! Jim is actually punking Andy in this episode! ...I'll see myself out...

Stop. Stop comparing things to pop media. You’re as cringey as leftists who compare the world to Harry Potter all the time.

Not Campbell's pea soup?

This younger generation communicates through memes. I don't get most of them. At least they warn me beforehand that I won't get it even when they try to explain it to me.

Pop media, the office is over a decade old and literally the most anti pc culture show that was been on tv. The fact that it's still available is amazing.

6
GoyaConfused 6 points ago +6 / -0

Lol at the office being “anti-pc” counter culture. The Overton window is real, folks; what was once the most bland, vanilla show in 2008 is now considered by the youth of today to be “counter culture.”

2
TheZotico 2 points ago +3 / -1

By today's standards, come on lol go back and watch it, would not air it today

Literally everything from before 2014 seems quaint and homely compared to the garbage we have today. After 2014 they really ramped up the garbage. Things from the mid-2000s seem like a distant country that I want to move to.

Or the Major from Fawlty Towers.

Have you ever heard of the classic known as Married...with Children? That show was more anti PC then The Office could ever dream to be. That show was actually controversial during its run.

Strangely the Democrats want to be locked down.

20
pqsusan 20 points ago +20 / -0

Californian here. Can confirm. The day after Gruesome announced that we're all going back into lockdown because of some imaginary threshold he pulled out of his butt, everyone, and I mean everyone, was face diapered up. Even people in their cars. It was unnerving. Almost as if they were just waiting for permission to put the shackles back on. Liberals, especially the suburban ones in my neck of the woods, are zombies. It's like living in the Twilight Zone.

In a country of 330,000,000, that's only 0.0008% of the population, which is nothing. Add to that, according to the CDC, 94% of the total deaths are from co-morbidities, which means those people didn't die from covid; they were already out the door and covid was the final straw. That means only 15,600 of deaths are actually from covid. That's only 0.00004% of the population, which is on the low end of a standard flu. It's the flu, and not only that, the CDC now admits it's really airborne and not spread by muh droplets, which means the face diaper is completely useless, and always has been. You've allowed yourself to be manipulated into throwing away your constitutional liberties with both hands in order to feel safe from a mythological bogey man.

Mr-J 6 points ago +6 / -0

Thats also what 9/11 was for

the CDC now admits it's really airborne and not spread by muh droplets

Got a link?

2
pqsusan 2 points ago +2 / -0

This one for starters. There are many other sources available. What's interesting is, they kind of sort of reversed course almost immediately after issuing this new guidance. It's as if it took them a moment to realize that admitting the virus is airborne would invalidate the power of the face diaper.

I think that might have been the point. I would put it like this though "bUt 260,000 PeOpLe ArE dEaD" since over 600,000 die from preventable heart disease each year, nearly a million babies not having the right to live, which brings me to your point that I always tell my covid-scared friend, how phony that shit is to cry out for people that were already basically dead.

3
deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0
3
xzibit_b 3 points ago +3 / -0

We don't know if that's true. The CDC says 260,000 are dead, but then we have this

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/florida-health-official-admits-man-who-died-in-motorcycle-crash-listed-as-coronavirus-death

It takes only ONE of these to call the entire count into question. Is it just this one? Or are there many more that go unreported? In fact, it is not the only one reported, there are many others. So now we cannot trust the 260,000 number, as we cannot trust the 9 million infected number because the CDC has admitted that it conflates active infections with antibody tests (testing positive for an antibody test means you have come into contact with the coronavirus but your immune system successfully fought it off. TL;DR YOU ARE NOT SICK).

I live in a deep red state(ky) with a completely cucked blue governor (bequeer). The legislature said they are going to tear his ass open in January. They are going to put heavy restrictions on emergency powers. I hope my state attorney general, Daniel Cameron runs for governor next election

pimpdaddypayne 5 points ago +5 / -0

At least your state is threatening to do something. Missouri is letting their cities rape the citizens with lockdowns.

3
elpoePehTeW 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don’t know where you’re at in MO, but there is a huge movement to take on Führer Page in STL County. Lots of sweet civil disobedience to his Fascist bullshit.

I only keep it due to being a musician. I use it for promoting shows and that’s about it haha.

I got invited to a private group that has been discussing it. It’s refreshing.

What is shocking to me is how this has really red-pilled a bunch of people. They’re are even a bunch that are anti-face diaper. It’s great!

Best part is I live in Florida. Going to play golf and then go to the bar to watch football.

3
Genericwhitemale 3 points ago +3 / -0

worst part is dems will be fleeing their locked down hell holes to red states.

9
Sum_devil 9 points ago +9 / -0

It’s retarded. I saw an article about a shooting in my city between some ratchet hoodrats at 2am and people in comments talking about “lockdown the city! This is crazy!”

Lockdown.the.city.

Omg the world is scary. Lock it all down.

I just want to say, look, you can guarantee your safety by locking yourself down. Stop trying to pretend like locking everyone in their homes solves anything? You literally just made everyone a criminal because of a small small few.

Low iq people that are emotional and look to unreasonable measures to feel better.

2
Isolated_Patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is how the indoctrination creates a desire for a police state. Once they fear everything, they will demand the state take control of it all.

7
TremendousGirth 7 points ago +7 / -0

DeWine isn’t a dem. But he is a cuck.

This and the voter fraud is going to wake up a lot of people

5
MAGALogic 5 points ago +5 / -0

There is a chance this redpills some normies but the rest are lost.

3
Frick_The_Dems2020 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

At this point all the normies that were going to be redpilled have already swallowed it...now with the 2nd round we should start to see more normies telling them to fuck off with their lockdown and start revolting en masse.

4
BanMySteakKnives 4 points ago +4 / -0

In Butte county. Sheriff refuses to enforce lockdown here too.

3
comooragh 3 points ago +3 / -0

I live in a blue area in a purple state so I'm not sad. These morons, besides the fraud of course, chose to vote for this idiot and now they're sad they can't go to the bar on the weekend. You reap what you sow and when you're too dumb to pay attention to the fact the dems are the ones pushing for permanent lockdowns and the reps want to open up you get what you deserve when you vote for the dem because you bought the media lies about 'trump causing the virus' and think the dem will make lockdowns go away.

3
Xi0nic 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thank god for DeSantis.

Me, while still not being able to reopen my business, watching those who continue to support those governors: x

2
Frick_The_Dems2020 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Everyone needs to rise and tell them to fuck off with their bs! It's sickening that all these giant retailers can continue to do business as usual but small business owners can't.

The answer to this is "He did not call the pandemic a hoax. He called the media's coverage of the pandemic a hoax." And it IS a hoax. That is absolutely factual.
