I ran 3 subs there and as much as I liked the idea at first... TDW is better in every single way other than TDW doesn't have a good implementation of sub boards (and I really dislike the current system of different urls for different boards to be honest).
But VOATS community is the most toxic group of racist retards and embarrassingly cringey edgelords there is. That sounds like a lefty concern troll thing to say but I mean it... like you can't post a story there about a boxing match if a fighter is black or theyll downvote it and go apeshit.
They are so over the top with their racism and ridiculous shit that its not even to be ironic or counter cultural... they just hate everything that isn't exactly what their vision of purity is.
The content is sub par, the commentary is non existent and most of the users are lazy and low effort with very few people actually contributing good content.
Literally, I quit there and gave up my subs to whoever wanted them because I was the only person posting quality shit for years...and these were some of their decent sized, more mainstream subs. In fact my account is still one of the higher end accounts there and I've been inactive for months.
In sum, don't waste time on VOAT, its doa and always was, its been replaced by TDW and will die entirely if TD ever implement subs here properly.
And if you think I'm a concern troll or shill, go read it yourself and prove me wrong.. its a garbage fire 24/7.
