Not in name only, in lineage. Political beliefs are rather heritable, hence why ethnicity and political leanings are decently correlated. It's why we see Jews overrepresented in progressivism, globalism and elitism.

The whole flimsy distinction between religious/racial/cultural Jews always confuses me.
