Allows me to realize that I am not insane for seeing what appears logical, but the media says is crazy talk.

My first and last angry thought of the day

My first and last laugh of the day

My first and last hope of the day

But mostly: As a data analyst I often think I am a fairly smart guy. I have a very decent IQ. I am, in these things, well above average. I did analysis on the vote data from the NYT and felt pretty accomplished to find a few things. However, many folks on TheDonlad - they humble the living fuck out of me and make me feel as if I can't add 2 + 2. The level of analytical minds these people have make me believe even more that aliens are among us, and they are fucking based!

I appreciate it all.

As a student in a University that is by my estimation 95% liberal, this place gives me a much-needed breath of sanity. I am glad it is helping you as well!

I think if I went to a University today, I would either go out of my mind, or be kicked out of every class for challenging professors. Hell, I'm not sure I can sit though elementary school and the 2 minute CNN update they are forced to watch every day. Stay strong!

Was the 2 minute CNN update a joke or is that an actual thing. It wouldn’t surprise me.

Thank god I went to a private elementary...

My daughter home school's her kids because of this. They are in elementary school. The kids were coming home saying all kinds of stuff and so they investigated and found out it was coming from the CNN segment and teacher comments afterward. Mostly Anti-Trump stuff and how he's this or that. At first they made it so their kids did not have to be present. Then last school year when distance learning, they did not care for some of what the teacher was saying. So they went full home schooling this year. Their oldest was in 3rd grade.

I could not even hazard a guess where my teachers leaned politically because I never heard them say a political word, unless it was to relay news, such as the day Reagan was shot.

Homeschooling does seem like a good option in terms of getting your kids a great education without paying tens of thousands a year.

However I do wonder about the lack of socialization and whether that may be a problem for kids.

Agreed. They do have things in place for that, planned times. I think all of the home school curriculum discusses that and offers processes for making sure kids are getting social time.

A little more difficult this year, but they have been doing ok.

WOW! This better be banned in public schools! Liberal private schools can show whatever bullshit they want, but there is no way in hell that my tax dollars should be used to pay for this indoctrination!

I can only hope I am prosperous enough to send my kids to private school, or maybe I can find a conservative school district.

Who is going to ban it? The pussies that run the education board? It's been in schools for a decade.
