I'll say that in Illinois there are plenty who buy into the Democrat propaganda. Might explain to some extent why chicago's population is just stagnant instead of declining. I really can't tell you what the numbers are. I think you are right that there are demoralized voters and corrupt elections, but do realize that many are drinking the Kool-Aid and there is no saving them.
Definitely MA as well! Ya, greater Boston and the cape (rich New Yorker’s second homes) is crazy commie blue, but Southshore and Western state is red! Trump flags and signs are everywhere. They are just stealing enough local elections so the reasonable voices are shoved to the side and they can pass all the ridiculous laws they want.
I’m not saying the whole state is red, far from it. But the left has rigged elections to the point that red areas of the state have no representation in the federal house and barely any in the local state legislature. They are able to run rampant and pass insane laws and mandates with no debates or political push-back to call them out or even slow the process. If the elections weren’t rigged, the state legislature should be much more competitive and we would have a better chance at fighting the bs the leftists in Boston keep pushing.
