Today, courtesy of Trump, we seem to be learning how political sausage is made. Which leads me to ponder some disturbing questions:
To wit: does one "win" the presidency by obtaining your or my vote, or is it purchased? How much does it cost to purchase the presidency? Is there a bidding process involved? What assurances need to be given to bidders that a winning bid will indeed result in obtaining the desired outcome?
And now the really big question: who SELLS the presidency, and by what right?
All of a sudden, so much previously inexplicable behavior on the part of so many politicians is now almost laughably predictable.
