Every time she says “Let’s be clear” she is subconsciously telling us that normally, she is very unclear. Given that she is constantly saying this phrase, it indicates how often she is “unclear”. I always found it strange that manipulative people tend to use phrases like “Let’s be clear” or “if I’m honest/to be honest”. I never understood why they cannot tell what kind of a message it displays when they say things like that.
