Why does this feel like the gas pump is asking for a tip.

$32 seems like a very specific amount compared to the others.

I mean 2800 is weird too no?

Indeed, but I'm always more wary of low, very specific amounts. $2800, for instance, may the maximum donation for this kind of thing in some jurisdictions or even federally. Meanwhile, more people are likely to click low amounts than high ones. So I am curious why $32 instead of $30. Is it strictly because they want a bit more than double the minimum amount, or is there some minimum level for tax writeoff maybe.

I think they are trying to squeeze that $25 price point donor for a few more sheckles. C'mon man, it's just $7 more dollars. I can hear it now.

Look up the Biden Fight Fund on the FEC website. The election was November 3. When do you think this committee was created?

Think of the meetings that had to happen, the approval process this went through, all the calls that were made - and all of it in just a few hours. The treasurer for this fund is the treasurer for the DNC, Joseph Smolskis. Clearly this happened hastily, as their filing with the FEC even spells the name of their bank wrong.

It's classed as a joint fundraising committee between the official Biden campaign and the DNC. They may pay a few staffers to do grunt work - but more likely anything that goes into this fund will be spent on "speaking fees" for Deep Staters and career politicians, with the remainder being poured directly into the DNC's coffers.
