As a former SD resident, it really is a fantastic place. The Black Hills and The Badlands are absolutely gorgeous. I lived in Sioux Falls, and even though it’s mostly farmland in the surrounding area, there are some incredible State Parks. Even Sioux Falls is a cool place with a really nice little downtown area.
I grew up there. Started in Pierre, moved to Sioux falls and then college in Brookings. I LOVE the Black Hills and would love to be a snowbird there when that day comes.

I'm thinking of moving to Sioux Falls after I graduate college next year. Seems like a great place to live all things considered.
