Should we even bother worrying about the recounts at this point? They are illegitimate. We will win in the courts anyway, no? Rudy said it was illegal to send out absentee ballots to people who didn't request them in the state of Wisconsin. Pennsylvania didn't segregate ballots like the Supreme Court asked. They circumvented the state legislature to change rules. Doesn't that supersede any sort of recount?

Recounts are definitely the first step.

Recounts prove there's at least some discrepancy. We have quotations from Democrats and campaign officials saying before the Georgia recount that there would only be a few hundred vote differences. Instead the discrepancy was thousands. Al Gore only gained back 1200 votes in Florida, the 3rd most populated state, and that was only because of disagreements over hanging chads.

Also a lot of judges want to see campaigns trying to settle election problems outside of the legislative branch. If you don't even attempt recounts, a judge may think you're not seriously invested.

Furthermore thanks to the Georgia recount, we now have affidavits from Democrat observers claiming that they witnessed seriously questionable ballots.

Good point. I guess today's journalists have not even a rudimentary understanding of American history to put these discrepancies into proper context.

We need the recounts because we know they will be wins, even if 1-2000 more votes for Trump. We don't know how many votes the supreme court will disqualify. If the courts give us anything short of what we need, we will need those recount wins. It could change the count just enough.

What is a shame is that we have to do the recounts now. it would be better for all involved if we could wait for the court ruling.

So we might need the recounts, we might not. But if we don't do them now, we can never do them. Time is ticking.

Well that assuming the courts actually would rule in Trumps favor, which is in real doubt at this point. These courts are just as corrupt as the vote counting at this point. Its either going to take a serious Supreme Court beatdown of these states or the republican legislatures just flat out not acknowledging Bidens claim to victory in these states.

It shouldn't take a beatdown. All they have to do is rule based on the law.

Any ruling based on law is going to be a beatdown considering they ignored so many of them.
