In the US I think the Left would have a higher bar to hurdle. The checks between the different branches should slow it down if not void such a law for being unconstitutional. If all else fails the 2nd Amendment is the failsafe between us and a corrupt government.
I hope Germans can fight this and have it wiped out.
The branches of the government are seriously eroded and infected and corrupted, the pollution is such you cannot expect the checks and balances to be supported and not subverted.
We need a serious check and balance right now from the Executive Branch, from the Department of Justice, but they have gone rogue.
We hope we have the SCOTUS. I have faith we do...but Roberts is still there, as the great unknown.
The Legislative branch is ineffective, corrupt, and weakened to the point they're barely functioning.
And all of this was intentional.
I HOPE that we prevail in court and we continue on to Trump's swearing in, but it's a hard road to that point as of today.
