Germans are ashamed from talking about WWII. They quickly avoid any discussion on the topic.

From what I saw from years of living in the country, Germans are a naturally law-abiding society; they are polite, yet cautiously friendly towards strangers; and, they will go out of there way to avoid sticking their noses in someone else's business.

To see them protesting in the streets gives me hope that they have had enough of getting shit on by their "leaders."
