the case was a sham that had no hope in hell of actually getting anything but dismissed. They alleged some counties let people cure ballots while others didn't - they than tried to sue the counties that DID let people cure ballots with 2 plaintiffs from the counties that DIDN'T.
Judge, entirely correctly, threw the case out saying you are suing the wrong people - paraphrasing: if a county denied you your vote, you should sue THAT county, rather than 7 other counties that allowed people to vote with allegedly different rules.
It is not related to the case that Alito issued court orders on, which was regarding ballots that came in after a particular deadline which was against state legislature.

Just fyi, i am 99.999% sure that this case that just got thrown out is NOT the one that will be going to SCOTUS.
