What the hell is wrong with you OP. Do you really think slavery, in a agrarian economy would have lasted? It would not, nor would it have progressed, it would have follown Russia into Soviet style Communism. 92% of whites in the Antebellum South were slaves too. No reason to beleive that Antebellum South was good, none.
