All these nerftards that've been challenging the certifications are amateurs... Certification is merely the accounting of the votes. Once the certification occurs notes are put in place citing the irregularities which then goes to the State Houses to asks questions but most of the time they rubber stamp it to move on w/ their lives. Its up to the candidates to then challenge the irregularities if they exist

It is theoretically possible that you could get an emergency injunction to present something from happening to prevent injury that is likely to occur before certification, like the PA poll watchers ruling that they decided to ignore
BUT! More often than not your case will be thrown out for a lack of standing before certification

But if they never certify, that would make it impossible for anyone to reach 270, making the election go to the house and Trump would win. So by certifying we are also eliminating one path to win
