Serious question: My wife and I are looking to buy our first guns to defend ourselves in case we are attacked in riots/unrest/political violence. We live in NC and have been researching for almost 3 years what laws and procedures we might have to go through. I could really use the help of patriots willing to mentor us through the process so we aren't scammed or paying the wrong price or legally screwed over. I can make my own post about this, but don't know if it would be worth drowning out the more helpful news posts.
