Liberals truly believe that Christ was a Liberal - or worse yet- a socialist. Of course, they gloss over the “God helps those who help themselves” and “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s” - along with a boatload of other examples.
Christ was interested in individualism and a personal relationship with God. He did not want you swept up in the hysteria of the times. Most importantly of all, he wanted your relationship, and devotion to, God to be irreplaceable.
Considering most atheists are Liberals, I’m calling a hard BS on Christ being Liberal.
The parable about the man working in the field and being told, “it doesn’t matter what other people are paid, you agreed to those wages.” Shoots the socialism in the Bible argument to dust.
