Trump is the only thing protecting the moderates from the far left. Do they not understand that if Trump was robbed of a 2nd term that it would effectively neuter the republican party for a generation (or more likely, perpetuity) leaving ‘moderates’ as just a minor speedbump on the descent into Socialism?
Moderates have been insulated from assault simply by virtue of the Republican party existing. If that insulation was destroyed they would be exposed, and whatever moderate political beliefs they have, easily dismissed. If there was ever a time for them to pick a side, it’s right fucking now and they should be as loud as the rest of us supporting Trump.
In my experience moderates tend to be some of the most politically naive of any label. They don't understand the direction the country is moving in and just get swept by the wave. Moderates tend to be the sheep we decry who just do what they're told. If they're told communism is good then they'll be a moderate communist!
