Why did you hate Trump? MSM propaganda?

10
Trumpcanuck 10 points ago +10 / -0

I didn't hate him myself just thought he might be unstable. Didn't realize that the Left leaning media was also full on lying and his quirks and in the face speech was drawing his enemies out to make them mess up. Now I really think he may just be a master at maneuvering his opponents where he wants them.

cherboltz 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah thats why I used to dislike him, you really don't expect MSM to be so corrupt and biased.

Wish my wife could see it.

The thing about Alex Jones, is that the left LOVED him when he was exposing Bush's BS, but all of a sudden he becomes a right wing conspiracy theorist the second he starting putting stuff out there about the left. He honestly seems like he's more of a centrist than most people.

No, the first interview Trump had with Hannity, I was on board.

At least you're here now!

It was the shooting in Portland, when I heard about the riots I was getting skeptical, and then Aaron Danielson was shot dead, this is how they reported on Twitter: man shot dead in Portland protest. I was like wait a minute, media was blasting the names of victims before, everyone was screaming "SAY HIS/HER NAME", but why can't I even find out who shot who this time? So I realized the whole thing was a giant gaslight, and thought to myself, what else are they lying about? Then I decided to listen to a Trump speech, because who has media been the most hostile to? Trump. And then the rest is history XD

I can't stand when people call Trump racist.

It's this lie that everyone just accepts.

They always point to some quote from 2016 when he was specifically referring to MS13 and it was edited to make it look like he was talking about Mexicans.

9
Timmy100 9 points ago +9 / -0

Trump exposed to the public how bad, how deep and how wide the corrupted stinky swamp really is. The insiders already know it how bad it is.

Sidney Powell published that "License to lie" book about federal prosecutors but not one prosecutor dared to sue her. That is how bad it is! They were scared that the discovery process would have exposed them!

Remember, there were no Trump like powerful guys in Venezuela to fight against the left wing tyrannical movement and they have been paying the price for two decades now and counting...

8
UnbowedUncucked 8 points ago +8 / -0

Actually nobody thought Trump was racist until 2016 and the media started slandering him.

4
hloblart 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep. Was always buffoon, bankrupt, or playboy that they used against him before then.

7
OrangeFruitGood 7 points ago +7 / -0

For many years I just knew him as the mean rich boss from The Apprentice who says "You're fired!", who had a cameo in Home Alone 2 because he owned the hotel, and then I knew him for the controversy of demanding Obama's birth certificate.

Looking back, now knowing Trump's political prescience, he was likely dead right about Obama being a Kenyan national.

Obamas real dad is Frank Marshall Davis. There a book and doc about it

2
D0NNIE_DARK0 2 points ago +2 / -0

There’s an interesting theory that he’s half Indonesian and not of African descent at all. Lots of things never added up with Barry or his mother. I think Frank was a handler of sorts.

MakeCaliRedAgain_202 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m in my mid 20’s and my earliest memories of Trump was me as a kid walking around and pointing at people telling them they’re fired. My family hated him but I broke the conditioning early.

In 2016 I was kinda meh about candidates at first, but then the sheer amount of wingnuts with rustled jimmies had me going this guy has gotta be good.

milonie 7 points ago +8 / -1

never cared too much for trump, since im not a american. thought it was nice to have someone who is not establishment as a president. But now shit is not about the us anymore. its about the whole world. i cant help but laugh when i imagine someone who was doing wwe guest appearances be the last hope, but dang it really seems to be true

When I seen the unmitigated hate being spread for the man that years before everyone had loved, something wasn't right. I didn't pay much attention at first until the MSM really ramped it up to the point of lunacy. This felt wrong and I had felt this feeling before when I was young, bullying. I hate bullys they are cowards and must be met head on. This was the moment i knew the man was great.

I didn't hate Trump... I simply prefered Cruz. I was wrong.

2
OrangeFruitGood 2 points ago +2 / -0

Back when the Republican debates started in 2015, my biggest dread was Hillary winning. I just wanted whichever candidate had the best shot to beat her to win.

I had seen, on the communities I visited, a lot of Obama voters say "I'd vote for Rand Paul", so at the time I was hoping he would get the nomination.

Trump quickly grew on me, though. The more successful he was as controversy surrounded him and the media and leftists attacked him, the more I hoped he could do the "impossible" and win.

4
Mustangmark83 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nope. Never hated him. Was red pilled as soon as he announced.

4
vote_for_MAGA_2020 4 points ago +4 / -0

I can totally relate. All I knew about him was he was that guy in that show that said “you’re fired”. And the guy that single handedly took down Vince McMahon. I knew he was a billionaire, and I assumed, like most billionaires, he was crooked as hell. So when he announced he was running for office, I thought “oh great, just what we need, another billionaire in politics”. I was pretty apolitical during the primaries.

Then comes the “Mexicans are rapists and murderers” speech. I had started getting an idea about the media being biased at that time, but I didn’t know how bad it was. So when I heard the msm reporting it, I thought “well, there it is, he’s a racist bastard, is this the best Repubs can come up with?” Then I read a Scott Adams blog, where he pointed out the entire context of the speech. I realized I was lied to, and I agreed with Trump entirely. I started paying attention and picking apart the msm lies. I’ve been on the Trump train ever since.

The big thing that made me realize the media lied about Trump was the "Trump mocks a reporter's disability" story. When I first heard that, I thought that was a crappy thing for Trump to do.

Eventually, at some point in 2016, maybe during the summer, I saw the videos that went over the full context of Trump's comments in the rally, the mannerisms he typically uses in general, and what the reporter's actual disability was.

From that point on I knew the media was straight-up dishonest and untrustworthy in its reporting on Trump.

I was all in for Rand until Trump got all the hate from the media and I had to take a second look. Thanks Fake news. You picked a good one.

4
hloblart 4 points ago +4 / -0

And they did pick him. I firmly believe they intentionally gave him screen time to get him the republican nomination.

Why? Hillary was the chosen one after Obama. They knew Hillary was unelectable even with fraud, and they thought she would trample Trump. They were wrong. That is why they were so pissed when he entered the White House, because, at least in their minds, they put him there.

3
Rothbard 3 points ago +3 / -0

Also people thought they were smarter Trump still do.

What an idiot hahaha Im so much smarter than a billionaire who became president knocking off the Bush and Clinton families.

Trump running got me interested and I listened to him speak and all the debates and I wanted/knew he was going to win.

trunalymunumaprzure 2 points ago +2 / -0

I was anti Left before, but went full blown MAGA a month ago.

What made me switch? Instead of listening to what everyone else says, I finally looked for myself at what Trump has done. His track record is INSANE.

-Booming economy first 3 years

-Sprang back economy during a pandemic (33.1% GDP growth in Q3!!!!!!!!! That smashes all previous records to pieces)

-De-escalated nuclear war with North Korea

-Peace deals in Middle East

-Tax cuts

-Cut drug prices

-Bringing troops home from Bush and Obama's wars

-Pulled us out of shitty Paris Accord

-Maintained US's energy independence

-Stood up to China who has been taking advantage of the US and basically cheating at the economics game

-Did not power grab with war powers when COVID hit even though everyone wanted him to (some tyrant...)

Trump basically started running his administration like a company with objectives. I can't think of anything Obama did besides the atrocity of ACA or starting more wars. Trump moves quickly and gets stuff done. He won't always get it right, but at least decisions are being made.

I only really started paying attention once COVID hit, now the globalism stuff is just so obvious.

I liked him right away but did not trust him. Alex Jones and Stefan Molyneux, both of whom I respected, did trust him. I thought they lost their minds at first but I eventually came around.

On the Trump Train since 2011.

No hate. Ever.

A tiny bit confused that night he "bought" WWE.

Not confused the night at the WWE he rained money down from the ceiling.

Little bit confused with the idea of the 2000 run, with Oprah as his VP.

GontMawr 2 points ago +2 / -0

The best thing i like about Trump...he is a real politician. He has made it obvious what a joke our "ruling class" are and how much they lie to us using their paid for MSM arm. Trump actually cares about what he says and promises.

1
Saltyspicoli27 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nah. As a brown person I've never used the word racist. That's a fucking gimmick brought to you in part by Hollywood. Brown people don't fucking care about racism. I always thought anybody who shits in a gold toilet is pretty cool. not only that but every rapper I used to listen to thought he was cool so when the fuck was he a racist?
