Think about it this way: Most PR firms are run by lefty college grads. Notice how vague and bland the wording is, like any other company statement from any other firm.

As a veteran-owned and operated coffee company...

Blah blah, passive voice introductory qualifier statement...

Black Rifle Coffee Company exists to serve premium coffee

Blah blah, the thing is done by the people....

The Black Rifle brand is a symbol of service, of strength, and of goodness that...

Blah blah, something exists, but doesn't do anything.

Now look at anything else they put out in print or in person, like their ''About Us" page: https://www.blackriflecoffee.com/pages/about-us

Black Rifle Coffee Company is a veteran-owned coffee company serving premium coffee to people who love America

This company is and does.

We develop our explosive roast profiles with the same mission focus we learned

We do a thing.

We import our high-quality coffee beans from Colombia and Brazil and roast

We do a thing and another thing.

Notice the difference in tone between the PR firm statememt and the About Us statement, they're written with totally different tone and mindset, written by different people.

Till Deer: BRCC hired out their voice to a retarded PR firm, and that's the real issue.

Don’t get dark roast then. Medium roast is the best.

I got hooked on Cafe Bustelo espresso grind when I was visiting my daughter down in Tejas. Haven't drank anything since. Give it a try sometime.

What do you use now? Currently, buy from them but idk about all this. I loved them because they talked about replacing Starbucks as the big elite... You have to walk the talk.. not just talk the talk.

It depends on the blend. There are some really good and some mediocre. I for one like their coffee, but am personally sad they will not publicly stand up for Kyle.

They should just make their coffee, donate to the causes they support and leave me alone.

I gave it a try. Not impressive in the least.

I swear never have I sent so many emails in regards to being disappointed.. I feel like a patriotic Karen.

In my email to Black Rifle coffee: ..."Do you honestly think that you have a bunch of lefty coffee drinkers dying to have a AK-47 on their bag of coffee..."

Yeah, I've been following Matt Best for some time now, This doesn't sound like something he'd intentionally put out. I really think this is a bad decision on their part, but I don't think they had the intention of this.

They should probably get a refund from the PR firm that wrote that, the use the money for ammo, and bikinis, and make a video of "we make coffee, not law and politics" video.

Yeah, they are. Anyone can look up what happened. Kyle did the best job a 17 yr old could do under pressure. BRCC Have some fucking pride in your country. Fuck these fools.

Think about it, they are going to lose perhaps thousands of "subscriptions" for their monthly plans, and are going to gain ZERO new customers from this.

From what I am reading (I have never bought their coffee), what they sell is a bit more expensive than what you get in stores, but people buy it because it supports a company that aligns with their values.

When you turn your back on the values that drives customers to you in the first place, that seems like a bad plan.

I mean, I don't think it will take much for people to stop spending money on something that is overpriced anyway, especially when you take away the reasoning for buying it from them in the first place.

Frankly, I hope they go out of business, but I would hate that for the actual veterans that work there who had nothing to do with this, but I am sure they understand that there are always casualties in war.

100 Fucking %

Kompromat 15 points ago +16 / -1

Exactly. Some assholes on reddit attempted to pressure them, who don't even patronize them anyway? No statement was needed. Pathetic caving move.

I'm a reasonable person well-attuned to the pressures on modern day corporations, and still this bothers me a lot. Fuck them.

They clearly don't know their customer base.

I may have only joined the site tens minutes ago, but I think this falls under the category of what Bannon warned us about. This is a bunch of fucking noise boys, listen for the signals.
