They suppose to have a closeness to 2A but bail when someone uses it for self defense.
They didn’t just not get involved they are actively caving to cancel culture by pulling their sponsorship of the blaze tv podcast that posted the picture of Kyle.
Truthfully, I basically never get into vicious arguments with people here, because I have inherent respect for anyone on this forum. And I will believe you're not a shill. I'm not a shill.
I merely came on TD this morning, saw this thread, learned the story right then and there, and found the Black Rifle statement annoying and hypocritical.
I'm just surprised so many people are defending the company.
I also hate cancel culture BS, and I'm not calling for a boycott. I simply believe they made a mistake with their statement, and likely pissed off some fans.
In terms of public relations strategy, all Black Rifle had to do was nothing. No genuine movement against the company existed. Instead, they went on the record against Kyle Rittenhouse, when no one even thought he was a concern to the company. The optics are bad.

This. 100% this.
They could have very easily just stayed out of it. They were certainly not under any obligation to say anything. And, if pressed, they could have responded with a simple "We can't control the clothes people wear" or some such.
They put themselves in the middle of a situation they weren't a part of, and deserve every bit of criticism they get for it.
That's a well nuanced take, and I think we're pretty much on the same page when you put it like that.
I do want to apologize for busting your chops. I've had a couple of losers on my nuts all morning and you kinda got lumped in with them from my perspective.
I do believe I misinterpreted your opinion because of some bad actors and, again, I apologize for putting you in with them.
You mean someone they had no closeness with to begin with? That seems peefectly reasonable.
I see you followed that link in from twitter.
Can't turn your back on someone you were never partnered with in the first place. The extra shilling for leftist cancel culture isn't helping either.
Do you happen to write for any particular news agency? Your shit's straight out of a journalism playbook.

Black -You Can't Own That- Coffee Company.
The only one shilling is you, rather blatantly white-knighting for a coffee company as if it's your identity.
You should spend some time on ConsumeProduct.win
It's interesting you're accusing me of being a leftist, because I'm disappointed with yet another presumably based company caving to leftists.
Well, after the whole cancel culture thing, the repeated shilling, and the lot of oranges I've seen this moring?
Yeah, I'm seeing a forced narrative, especially with that one guy following me around whining at me.
If his propaganda was effective he wouldn't need to shill so hard.
