William Howard Taft runs and wins in 1908, but TR doesn't like Taft as President. TR runs against Taft in 1912, doesn't get nominated by the Rs so he starts The Bull Moose party. This splits the R vote in 1912, and gives Woodrow Wis on the presidency.
Didn’t he run again and was ousted from his party so started the Bull Moose party? I guess this was pre-term limits?
