Hi Frens!
My Husband and I are both totally new to guns but we'd like to get started. If anyone has recommendations for where total newbs should start, we'd really appreciate it. We thought we should get some sort of training before purchasing so we could get a better understanding of what to buy and how to use it but any advice would be much appreciated. All our friends are lefties so no help there.
Thanks for all the great Sunday Gunday inspiration!
Honestly you have waited until the worst possible time to buy a new gun. AR15s that you could normally buy for 300-400 are selling for 800+ now and ammo is going for over .50 a round.
IMO everyone needs an AR15 chambered in 5.56 (10.5" to 16" barrel), with at least 1 30 round magazine. You don't need a super expensive, any of the basic build models like these are good to go:

For handgun you want something high capacity and 9mm. I would go with one of these: https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/mp-9-m20-4-compact https://us.glock.com/en/pistols/g19
For concealed carry I use that m&p 2.0 9mm and a ruger lcp II: https://ruger.com/products/lcpII/models.html
Yeah, we waited till the worst possible time to do a LOT of things. We are looking at houses, too. And the market is just as ridiculous.
Thanks for the tips! Very appreciated!
