Agreed! I’m a surgeon and can’t stand 80% of my colleagues at an academic center right now. They email us commie propaganda every day. Drives a good chunk of us insane.

Yeah honestly all this “higher calling, I’m a saint” bull shit makes me mad. At the end of the day I’m literally a mechanic. I’m a highly specialized highly trained mechanic that does very stressful repairs but at the end of the day I see myself more as a tradesman. And that’s also a reason it drives me nuts when people think they’re entitled to my services as a “right”. You aren’t entitled to the guy that fixes your muffler just like you aren’t entitled to the guy that fixes your shattered spine.

Agreed fully. And again, this is coming from within the ranks of the physicians. Me and the other surgeon bros are surprisingly very based. We heard medicine doctors bitching about socialized medicine and onerous gov oversight in the lounge 3 minutes after they talked about how they voted for Biden and another surgeon I work with lost his shit on them.

this type of thing baffles me endlessly about leftists. they will lambast big pharma corruption, then say take your vaccine and vote for the big pharma purchased candidates and eat bug pharma funded media. point out the double think and they literally say orange man bad is what makes it ok to support evil corporations, lying media and purchased politicians. beyond stupid.

If you had told me in 2004 the Democrat party would be the one that supports the media narrative, the DC establishment, the lobbyists, the “endless war” neocons, censoring free speech, Rigging an election, and pushing for foreign intervention I would have laughed at you. And now here we are.

And you are one of the good guys.

4
BasedBoneSaw 4 points ago +4 / -0

It’s not that we’ve seen a lot of malpractice it’s just that it’s a lot of propaganda even all the way back in medical school. It’s harder and harder to get away with real malpractice these days-information age word travels fast.

I have fired 5 doctors in the past. They have basic uses (prescribe RX, set a broken arm, etc). Most are brainwashed through years of expensive indoctrination and are taught that the only way to better health is via the pills they will sell you.

Board-certified doctors cannot give you natural alternatives to try (even if they are aware of them) because they will lose their license if they do. Their job security and financial motivation is to keep you sick and on expensive prescriptions.

Doctors are not your friends! Most see you as nothing more than a wallet with legs, to be fleeced until death claims you...

I have a chronic condition. Traditional western medicine has failed me. The doctors had a one pill fix. When it didn't help, they moved on to blaming me. You must be stressed. You should try an anti depressant. Come back when things get "really" bad. Other chronic illness patients tell me very similar stories.

By comparison, NDs (naturopathic doctors w an alternate certification route) listened to me. My first appointment was a 90 minute intake!! They didn't dismiss my problems. They gave me lifestyle, dietary, supplement, and in rare cases pharmaceutical solutions. Each where they made sense. They admitted they might not be able to "cure" the illness, but we could (and did) make improvements. And they also gave me hope that the science was always improving. Of course, insurance doesn't cover seeing NDs. But it was well worth the money.

2
Ophelia 2 points ago +3 / -1

Pill pushers. I refused beta blockers, cholesterol and asthma meds. Lo and behold my conditions improved without them. Just needed a few lifestyle changes.

Now I'm refusing osteoporosis pills. Let's see what happens. Taking meds can often hurt you more...

Do you know what's even worse than doctors? Psychiatrists. They shove meds down your throat if you even hint at being slightly depressed.

/waves hands around magical orb/

Yes I can see it now

All the dancing TikTok nurses complained about how busy they are and how under appreciated they are and capped it off with some variation of a complaint that boils down to “we’re only ones in society who ‘work hard’. No one understands what it’s like to work hard because no one works as hard as us!”

13
BasedBoneSaw 13 points ago +14 / -1

ICU nurse here. I suspect most of those videos were made by either “nurse leadership” (ie - management) or the nursing union people - the ones who have the free time to do that shit and think it “boosts morale” or some other nonsense. Those people are nurses, yes, but not bedside. Bedside nurses don’t have time for that shit, especially in critical care with short staffing and a pandemic.

Remember that, while they obviously must demonstrate competence, their professional practice and livelihood is "certified" by a hierarchy of white coat govt authority. I think your opinion is more popular than you might think. The doctor-patient relationship (and by extension, nurses, pharmacists, etc) has always been nearly sacred. But they have largely failed to protect that relationship by knuckling under to the propaganda. Was in Dr's office recently, making chit chat with an RN and said "it'll be good to get rid of these masks soon." Without missing a beat she played her little brain tape of "well, they keep us safe and we have to wear them and bla bla bla." I wasn't in to mood to point out that core parts of the medical establishment, like the CDC and WHO, say the exact opposite--because it was clear she was deep in the matrix.

(Personally I stopped holding the medical establishment in high esteem 10 years ago when their intake forms started asking questions about firearms in the household.)

Pointing out flaws in others for your own benefit is arguably the most addictive social behaviour. Docs do not realize they're doing this instead of minding their careers a lot of the time.

7
YourTendiesWillBurn 7 points ago +7 / -0

Shit rolls downhill. These docs are terrified of administration who are the ones pushing the majority of this BS. Admin gets their marching orders and force the docs to obey. It pisses me off to no end watching docs and nurses skate around trying not to answer a covid question directly, but I get why they do it.

3
Youbetgiraffe1 3 points ago +3 / -0

36
arebee 36 points ago +38 / -2

Na but forreal, since medicine is female dominated, you can expect it to be subverted easily. Nurses I know have shown me some of the bullshit they’re taught and medicine is as under attack as the faggy-arts are.

19
KarpLykov 19 points ago +19 / -0

Also the med schools brainwash them. The longer they are at college the worse it gets.

11
VictoryInDefiance 11 points ago +11 / -0

Which is why a lot of them don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. That doesn't stop them from acting superior though. I'm tired of getting into pissing contests with doctors and nurses the minute I use any kind of medical terminology. I'm only trying to help them understand symptoms I'm having and they get ass-hurt over it real quick. They treat us like toddlers and they expect us to act like we're illiterate. Infuriating.

3
Johnson 3 points ago +3 / -0

Idk about brainwash. They just incompletely educate. Most of their psychology understanding seems corrupted or even wrong, they learn nothing about basic leadership principles and political responsibilities, and they do not work with insurance companies to implement policies reducing risk.

Many leave with god complexes and romantic neuroses, with no pragmatic sense of business and many dangerously wrong ideas about leadership.

You can thank those fuckers in Big Pharma for that. They'll "sponsor" (i.e. bribe) medical schools and researchers to get them to promote their products and do what THEY say just to make more money.

They need to make it more like a trade school where you only learn what's necessary. That will LITERALLY fix the healthcare problem in the US. Most of what you learn in medical school and in undergrad isn't used by doctors at all, which just goes to show you how much of a bureaucratic machine medicine has become. It's literally become Big Business now, and that's the problem.

2
Nevercommunism55 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great response.

30
TheJake 30 points ago +30 / -0

I think a big point to make is most in the medical industry KNOW DAMN WELL the bullshit that COVID is. I sell devices in the OR, and know how much published, clinical data and statistics play a role in the practice of medicine. They know the data used to for lockdowns and mask mandate decisions is laughable, blatantly biased, and would NEVER be used to publish guidelines in a respected medical journal.

The reality is state health departments follow CDC guidelines, and have full regulatory power over physicians, practices, and hospitals. Unfortunately most keep their mouth shut because they have a lot to lose, and have seen peers fired and blacklisted for openly calling out the scam.

11
Karma_Bus_Route_20 11 points ago +11 / -0

Medicine and science has been politicized...and it’s been going that way for a while

With phrases like “believe science” and “the science is settled” what did u expect? That’s not how science works...science is never “settled”

What they really mean is “Believe OUR science”. “OUR science is settled”. They don’t want to hear conflicting hypotheses or opinions

I have wondered why the CDC was allowed to openly present the facts : That covid has mutated into a milder strain, as viruses tend to do ; that an elderly fatass with a comorbidity or three still has a 95% chance of fighting off covid ; the rest of us, a 99.8% likelihood ; most of the "cases" are asymptomatic and of those who HAVE symptoms, it's mostly a severe cold or flu : And any time you have a cold or flu, there is a chance that it can cause a lung infection, pneumonia, and death, for that matter.

As the Global Governance organs of evil-the UN, the WEF, the IMF, WHO etc etc et al-are so obviously betting on shoving their Great Reset through via covid hysteria, I wondered why the folks at the CDC weren't blackmailed and if necessary murdered before that report was published. Now I know :

Hardly anyone read it, and hardly anyone cares. The worthless mask nazi cunts and the lowpaid unskilled labor flunkeys would rather go on enforcing "mask mandates" because they think it shows they're "caring" and 'respect science" , or because it's a tiny taste of power in their worthless lives, or both, rather than admit we were lied to and deceived into throwing away our economies and our freedoms on a [mostly] bullshit virus.

Someone , it may have been Harlan Ellison , once criticized Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, on the grounds of "unrealistic plot" ; saying that the future wouldn't bother to ban and burn books ; it would just make reading a thing of the past, via mass entertainment/indoctrination as a more popular substitute. Whoever that critic was, he was extrapolating from what he saw in the 1970s ; things have only gotten worse.

I agree. The AMA helped to give us Obamacare by supporting that stupid bill. Many doctors don't have any common sense. They outsource their billing and they have no idea what anything costs. They line right up with big pharma, which is totally corrupt. The medical bureaucracy is completely corrupt as well. Look at Fauci who continues to sabotage the President. People in the medical community tend to like the leftist "free" healthcare for everyone idea because they think they will keep getting paid for the services they render. They virtue signal by proclaiming that healthcare is a right (it's not).

8
_ra247 8 points ago +8 / -0

Of course they did. Tic toc nurses are the least of our gripes

I can make one simple point that destroys everything we've been told by both the medical community and government : we had March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November to build out our medical capacity. We could be training-up, especially those economically displaced with the lockdown, to care for COVID positive patients to give the medical community the personnel capacity to deal with a surge. We could be building medical facilities, again providing jobs to those displaced economically, to give the medical community capacity to accept a surge in patient population.

None of this is happening. This is not about a virus. This is not about health. This is not about maintaining a strong, healthy population. This is 100% to destroy humanity, period, full stop.

It's like anything else. The retarded ones are having their voices amplified (largely by the MSM) while the sane and rational ones are being silenced by the same mechanism, so it appears as though they are letting us down, but it's really just corporate overlords, MSM and social media, at it again. I say this as someone who works in health care, has a brother that's a doctor (in NYC, treated covid patients during the initial breakout, etc) and is as based as any of us here, and knows the deal w/ covid. My father's a pharmacist; same thing, and furious at how this has been handled (especially the smearing of HCQ), a cousin that's a doctor, another cousin in public health. We're all on the same page. But any (and there's many) with these views are ostracized, slandered, and just generally silenced.

Can't say anything about doctors but on my husband's side there's some nurses. One of the thing they complain about CONSTANTLY is how so many of their peers don't care about the quality or care of their patience. While some of that is thanks to awful management witling away the nurses' spirits into the ground, some of it is just plain old crummy personality. I'm not the least bit surprised to discover are ignorant and fearful.

PS: Nurse quality varies greatly depending on the location. Places that treat their nurses well will naturally have better nurses. If you find many locations where the nurses don't care, it probably means they're not paid or treat well so the only ones willing to work there are bottom of the barrel.

4
wethepepe 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nurses sure do seem to complain, a lot.

For whatever reason it just seems to attract those with a certain complex.

(Standard “not all” disclaimer applies obviously)

1
nickle-pickle-pede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well... the complaints I heard were about patient lives being put at risk through negligence and mismanagement. She would fight the other nurses, even her own bosses, to get the quality care her patients deserved. Lets just say she wasn't very popular in places that cut corners, lol.

I heard someone say that bullies who are men go into the police force, women who are bullies go into nursing. Seems a certain level of truth there. Bullies, or at least those who crave dominance over others, gravitate towards places that can give them that. Those concerned with justice or real care get sidelined frequently by them (the bully types).

1
wethepepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ah yes, the good nurse who actually wants to do good for their patients. I’m sure the politics, back stabbing and undermining will flow thick and fast. Sad!

I think that’s a pretty good read of how it works tbh

Obviously always exceptions to the rules but yeah.

4
brownguy 4 points ago +4 / -0

One thing to keep in mind is that if a "nurse" posts one of these "OMG STOP KILLING PEOPLE, WEAR A MASK" stories on their social media, it gets TONS of attention. What many do not see is that there is sort of a "silent majority" type situation happening in the healthcare field. Doctors and nurses who don't believe in all this bullshit can't say anything on social media because they'll get fired. They can't go out to stores without a mask on for risk of someone putting them on social media and outing them. It's a really shitty situation for them to be in, but they gotta put food on the table, you know?

4
CornandSoybeans 4 points ago +4 / -0

I contracted a tick borne illness this last summer. Nobody in the hospital would fucking touch me until the covid test came back negative. Then they took 3 more because my symptoms were similar to covid and they where convinced I had it. The first night I was admitted to the hospital I arrived at 5 pm and it was 930 pm before the nurse even came in to check on me. I was lying there miserable with a 103 temperature and just a pillow and a sheet. After buzzing the station several times for a fucking glass of water and them saying somebody is coming, I called he wifey who wasn't allowed to come into that wing of the hospital and let's just say I love her. I think she could have defeated army special forces to get me a blanket and glass of water. Those poor nurses didn't see it coming.

CDC reversed their statements like a 100 times.

The WHO releases under powered study after under powered study. At least it didn't stop US doctors from using remdesivir.

All the vaccine experts say it will take years to develop a vaccine and validate the data because they are slow with their own and don't want pfizer and moderna to take all the profits.

HCQ is only dangerous for long qt patients which is 1 in 2000. All it takes is 1 ekg to find that out and then you just stop the drug.

N-95 masks do work at hospitals. But the point is totally mute if the doctors/nurses don't wash their hands. Hand washing prevents more infections than masks ever will.

Doctors are flawed humans just as the rest of us are. We have found over the last 4 years of endless specialist dr visits (including the famed Mayo Clinic) and still having no diagnosis, we see how really little they actually know. They specialize in one area, but most seem to fail to have the ability and understanding to connect the dots as to how our systems work together as a whole. It’s been really eye opening to discover.

My brother pharmacist had exact thinking.

"The science. The science! " was answer to everything.

Then I asked him what is science that FORBIDS questioning?

"WHAT?"

"That is DOGMA, brother. NOT SCIENCE. "

it did SILENCE him while he considered. "You know, " he says "you're actually right about that. "

Made my fucking day.

CHANGED NOTHING

Liberalism IS a certifiable mental illness.

You think?

1906 - Rockefeller took over medical colleges and eliminate nutrition from the curriculum in favor of drugs. Duh.

Unelected people telling everyone how to live their lives.

There’s a reason that is avoided.

I've thought this for years. Look at the opioid epidemic which they created and then washed their hands of. Look at their denial of science when it comes to trans people - this applies to the psychiatric community especially.

As with scientists, the more you have the lose, the more you will tow the line.

You must remember these fucking cucks spent tens of thousands in their schools just so they could make it back and much more when they come out to work.

Do you think these are people who will sacrifice all of that for the sake of truth? I would rather trust a fucking snake before these "people"

I stopped going to my doctor when he said he wouldn't prescribe HCQ and zinc for covid. He called zinc "alternative" medicine. Doctors are not infallible (medical error is a leading cause of death in the US). Can't use a doctor who is a science denier.

I bet you are one of those faggot doctors who wear masks and don't challenge the china virus hoax like a good little cuck who works for the AMA. Challenge means you publically challenge it with your real name and your title and specialty and shit. Not hiding behind anonymity

Fuck you and you are just as culpable and responsible for this disaster as Fauci, btw

Academia is nothing but indoctrination. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists etc... don't go to school to expand their minds. They go to school to learn a trade. All they know is what they are taught. Doctors are actually some of the most closed minded people you'll ever meet because they spent 10 years in school just learning what they were taught with no time to expand their mind. Outside of their narrow specialty, they know nothing. Their huge egos and high intelligence actually sets them up for even more failure because they're over confident in their limited knowledge and don't open their minds to alternative perspectives. They're so used to doing everything themselves that they can't fathom the concept that they can be wrong.

There are good and bad people in any profession with any education. While intelligence can be correlated with a profession, intelligence itself isn't enough to determine wisdom which is something lots of doctors lack.

What has truly failed us isn't the medical community but academia itself which has turned a whole generation of people into brainwashed closed minded egotistical morons. They know tons of stuff but most of what they know is actually unimportant and simply outright wrong.

i’m a physician, a good number of us realize it’s mostly bullshit. what’s ridiculous is the number of my colleagues who don’t, i.e. those who supposedly know why we wear different PPE depending on the microbe.

Ah the western medical field, where a 15 min intake and pharma pill will "solve all your ills!" And the only thing you pay for where you find out the cost...after you've bought it. No returns.
