Magazines fail, whether they are polymer, aluminum or steel. When you have dozens of them, they can all blend together and many issues with your rifle can stem from an out of spec mag.
If your mag causes an issue, chuck it in the trash. Labeling them makes it easy to differentiate. But that’s just me, take my 2 cents and put it towards the bill if you want 😂
go ruger for mini 14, pay up the 30 bucks per magazine. no issue ever again. thing about the mini14's is u gotta get something 585 or later on the stamp (post 2005 i believe) so they are very accurate. and the ruger mags never, ever, ever fail . my child..... you should do this.

The mini 14 has a special place in my heart, but the AR is superior in every way.
