"sociopath or psycopath, commie shill, or a wannabe LARP."
How about warriors willing to lay down their lives to preserve the republic for their children's children? Where would they fit in?
It goes both ways you see.. i think we can all agree that it is experienced uniquely on an individual basis. And you can hardly categorize all of those unique experiences into those 4 archetypes.
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I think the point trying to be made is: you may need to reconcile yourself (should such a fight happen) to the possibility you may not have any children or children's children left at the end of it.
Civil wars are rather nasty, and there is never any guarantee of survival (for yourself, for the ones you love). That is why they are only to be as a last resort, when all else fails (people tend to always remember the part in our Declaration that starts with: "...that whenever any form of government...", and always forget the part that follows: "Prudence, indeed, will dictate....").
Avoiding war if possible in the pursuit of goals is always the best option, but if it comes to that, then do it after prudent avoidance and with the resolve that all other attempts have failed...and with the clear vision that it's not going to be a walk in the park on a summer's day.
I gave you four choices.
Funny to see which one offended you.

Ahh go fuck yourself.
But on a serious note, I might not should have insulted you in the first place.
I did not need it to make my point.
