What people don't realize is that our enemies aren't just taking pictures out of the window anymore when they use this treaty to spy on us, they are using HIGHLY sophisticated imaging equipment, even targeted (and harmful) xray equipment, to not only see things, but to also see inside and through things (why do you think Russia constantly buzzes our ships at sea and planes in the air...it's not just an intimidation tactic, they're getting close enough to use their scanning devices).
This allows them to effectively get schematics of our military hardware, see inside buildings, underground, etc. These things have limited ranges though. Iran does the same thing in the Persian Gulf. China does it in the S. China sea. Russia does it. They use them on our carriers and other ships, and this treaty effectively allowed them to do it on our own soil and get close enough to do it. So they're not just taking a peek anymore, they're using it to get all the goods while also exposing our ships/bases to radiation to do it.

Great insight. Thanks.
